Hi everyone.

For the next OSGazet I want to include a directory of places that offer Christmas freebies and/or have fun stuff for Christmas to experience.
For that I need your help!
Please write in this topic if you give out freebies what kind and let me know a little about your region.
If you have a region decorated and have fun stuff for people to experience, please write what people can do.
I will need a SLURL in any case.

I appreciate all posts and hints ;)

It's a pity that this post doesn't seem to attract any answers. That means that there will be no convenient place to look up places for Christmas shopping. :o

I might add mine into the mix in a bit. I tend to dig in stubbornly about holiday decor until it's officially December:)

Two regions where I've seen lots of holiday and winter stuff already are Willow Bend II and Littlefield.

I have tried to tp into Littlefield, but, seems nowadays you have to be on the access list..

Littlefield has its regions rated for adult.
Therefor now to insure that only 18 and older access these regions.
You must join the group "Littlefield Gateway" so you agree that you are over the age of 18 and able to access their regions.
Hope this information helps.

LOL, how is that going to prove anyone is over 18. Forget it.

It's not, but I guess the thinking is that if SL can get away with a flimsy, half-assed age verification system (basically: "are you 18 or older [yes]/[no]") then littlefield can...

There really isn't a way to age verify anywhere because there will always be an option to lie. However I think if you make someone have to take a bit longer figure out your system then they actually have to consider whether or not they really want to lie. It's also meant to be a deterrent for griefing. Same principle as the age thing really. However, I'm not looking to divert the topic of this thread with region management strategies; to each their own:)

We're here to yell out sim names with holiday goodies. As I see more, I'll post more. Willow Bend II is very charming and it will make you want to put on a top hat and go caroling. Potion Lock has sweet little snowmen snowflake emitters that are too adorable to not go see and take a copy of.

There will be a little holiday market in the alley skybox above Augurey Peak but I still need to make the stuff so I'll officially announce that is it's ready. We are a role play sim but visitors are always welcome:)
