I tried using the configurable wind module, and it does not do what I expect.

I know that I successfully switched to configurable wind in the INI file because the wind always blows in one direction, and osWindActiveModelPluginName(); returns "ConfigurableWind".

However, the wind always blows exactly in the avgDirection at the avgStrength with no variation despite what the varDirection and varStrength parameters are set to. Is there some other parameter that I have to set to get the variance parameters to work?

How do I know there is no variance? I turn on a smoke particle system and observe the wind always blowing in one direction with no variance. I write a script to get the llWind() vector and display it twice a second, and neither the velocity or the direction ever changes. (Unless I change the avgDirection or avgStrength with osSetWindParam()).
