Keep the training material related in some way to OSGrid and OpenSIM or tools that you would use externally to opensim such as image editors and database tools etc... but ultimately the material presented benefits OpenSIM and OSGrid.

I'm in shock here and busy trying to find my avatar's jaw that fell into the ground ... lol

Iiiiiiiiiii diiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddddd iiiiiiiittttt !!!! woooo hooooooo

Having a standalone is real nice and you learn a lot, but being connected to OS grid is just awesome :)

It is my firewall. I could not find where to make the changes, so I shut it down to see if I could connect. For now I'm running on my Window's 7 firewall till I can find where to make the changes in Zone Alarm.

I just love all this. It's amazing.

Again, ty ty Thankkkkkk Youuuuuu's for your help :)

Hi Selea,

I overlooked your post before because everything seemed to be going ok, now I noticed you had to shutdown Zonealarm and use Windows firewall.
This is in case you or anyone still needs to fix Zonealarm to allow Opensim.
Double click Zone Alarm icon in the task bar at the bottom right of screen,
Click Program Control
Click programs
on the right is a big list of programs which have asked zoneAlarm for permission to connect and accept connections from the internet. and 4 rows of ticks, one each for access trusted and access internet, and one each for server trusted and server internet.
The top one will be the last one that asked, it could possibly be opensim, but it doesnt show up with a name, just blank, so click on the line and read "entry detail" in the field at the bottom of ZoneAlarm window,
you are looking for the full address of opensim.exe (C\docs and settings\user\My docs\more folders\bin\OpenSim.exe)
If its not the top one, it will be close, when you find it just put all 4 ticks in the access and server areas. If its a private grid then you also do the same thing for Robust.exe.
Thats it, close zone Alarm and now you can disable Windows firewall.
