I'm trying to develop software to make a quick update. I code in C with GTK +. For now the software only works for Linux and I have not made any package. Can you try it if you have a Linux installation. Thanks

Currently it can:
- make a quick backup of the local MySQL database from a standalone mode or a grid mode.
- update a simulation grid mode and standalone mode with editing and ini files comparison, then save the changes.

This app works on Ubuntu 10.10 on which was installed the GTK + library and libgtksourceview-1.0.
