I notice that the ini file still states the following, which I believe to be no longer true:

Since Mono Runtime Environment 2.10.5, the problems with Mac OS X and .NET libraries that affected SQLite were resolved. Is this no longer the case? If not then it seems the ini is out of date since it mentions the earlier Mono 2.4 -- I have a post on my blog about this, and even the default OpenSim (without the custom mods for OSgrid) works just fine with SQLite. No need for MySQL unless of course you need it for scalability etc..
