Am I the only one that keeps getting

[VivoxVoice]: Channel delete failed

If not, does anyone have any idea on how to fix it? (Vivox support is almost non-existent)

I found the problem. Apparently Win 10 screws around with various functions while updating

I'm using Windows 7 and just noticed the same errors. I've never noticed them before so maybe a Windoze upgrade on 7 too. What was the issue?

I just noticed that I get the error when Windows 10 has upgrades waiting for a system restart

Are you sure it's nothing to do with the Vivox downtime. You should have received an email about it.

I've never heard from vivox on anything since getting my setup info. It seems to work ok, so I'll ignore them for now and see what happens.

Could be that too. Mind you in the past four years since I got the vivox account I've not recieved a single email from them at all.

I have found an oddity that I cannot explain for the life of me. Over the past few days (according to what I've been told) one of my sims has had the voice disbled somehow yet in both, parcel and region settings it is on.

I have toggled it on and off a few times using each method (parcel and region) tested by walking into bordering sims hoping to force the connection once it's activated on a working sim but all to no avail. I am lost at this point. (I'm beginning to wonder if mere voice is worth all this crap)

Hi
I am coming to this discussion a little late admittedly, but can anyone give me a pointer on how to get a Vivox account to bring voice to my sim? I tried writing a courtesy request to them as suggested on a website I ran across somewhere, but that sank without trace. Is there a more reliable method, or have Vivox ceased to hand out voice accounts these days?

Thank you

Frankie.

Footnote:

Just to say I found what I was looking for, or at least I hope so. It seems there is a (very rough and ready looking) 'application' form for a Vivox account, here: https://support.vivox.com/opensim/

Wish me luck, and all who sail in her!

Frankie.

[Edit - 1 week later] - All is working great. Hoory for Vivox and their wonderful generosity!!!
