I don't know how true this is:-

But if MS did buy out Havok, then I wonder if there's going to be a Havok available for opensim? Or is it just greed?

I wish vivox bought Havok, then they could release a non-commercial version, and allow its use in opensim, much like they allow opensim users to use their vivox voice services for non-commercial grids, then opensim would have the best physics engine out there.

From my own experience, Havok isn't the best physics engine out there.
