Hi,
Teapot is my personal "guineapig" viewer, which I use to test new patches. Since I have the binaries anyway I decided to publish them along with the source code so that anyone interested can try - and developers of other viewer projects can pick features they like. Currently its based on SL viewer 3.3.0 with almost all patches I developed for the never released Kokua in 2011.
Features so far are (unsorted incomplete list):
* a more practical camera floater (also ported to Firestorm)
* a more practical media on prim setup floater
* colored avatar clouds
* pie menus (ported from Firestorm)
* login support for opensimulator grids (also ported to Firestorm)
* hop:// protocol handling (also ported to Firestorm)
* relog- teleport to other grids if hypergrid isn't available
* easy picking of new grids in the login screen
* experimental webgl support of the built in browser
You can find the latest binaries for Linux (32 and 64 bit) and Windows (no Mac, sadly) here:
