There is a new splash of news about Aurora Sim going around. It has been some time since I have heard anything about using Aurora with OSGrid. I remember that there were Aurora based regions some time ago.

I am curious if the current Aurora 0.3.x is compatible with OSGrid?

It would be great to have official approval/denial from OSG admins for every Aurora version. Incompatibility between grid and Aurora could potentially badly destabilize/crash whole grid.

I have no idea, and I really do not have the time to follow or test aurora right now, i would check with the aurora devs and see what they say.

There is currently very limited compatibility between Aurora-sim and opensim in general, unfortuneately.
This is an issue I, as one of the Aurora-sim team, have been argueing to regain for some time.

For now I believe it is best not to attempt to connect Aurora-sim regions to any but Aurora based grids.

This may change in the future, I certainly hope so, however I am merely "Chief Test Pilot" not one of the coders of aurora-sim.
