I believe I am close to having my grid ready for friends to test, I just have a few glitches and problems. The main problem is, how do I get both Robust.exe and OpenSim.exe to launch on Ubuntu 16.0.4 when the server is rebooted and without having to log on. Also, once that problem is fixed, how do I connect to either the Robust console or the OpenSim console from a terminal window.

Thanks again for all the help.

https://askubuntu.com/questions/2368/ho ... a-cron-job. You need to think about this carefully. If you ever have server problems, and you probably will, cron jobs that start automatically can completely disable your server startup.

Thank you Jozee. How would you suggest starting OpenSim and Robust without having to log in. Right now I am having to keep 2 SSH sessions running to keep my grid up. If either ssh session ends the grid crashes. I have tried starting the processes with disown but they don't seem to allow the programs to keep running.

Launch in a screen session. That way, you can detach and attach the setting from and to any TTY or SSH.
