Hello OSGrid-ians...
Many of you know that Seanchai Library has been around the VW grids for going on 10 years.
We've also been on Opensim/Hypergrid for 5 years with home base in Kitely.
We staff many professional storytellers and many different genres.
Many of our audience are HG travellers, and we would now like to invite all residents of OSGrid to join us for story time too!

This is always a social event in that the audience is encouraged to interact with each other and the storyteller via local text chat.
You do not need a microphone, you just need speakers!!

Our next Live Presentation is Tonight May 10th at 7pm... We hope you can join us!

***7PM Kitely Time***

(All times InWorld Times i.e. PT)

Bob Howard is a low-level techie working for The Laundry, a super-secret government agency. While his colleagues are out saving the world, Bob’s under a desk restoring lost data. None of them receive any thanks for the jobs they do, but at least a techie doesn’t risk getting shot or eaten in the line of duty. Bob’s world is dull but safe, and that’s the way it should have stayed; but then he went and got Noticed.
Now, Bob Howard is up to his neck in spycraft, alternative universes, dimension-hopping Nazis, Middle Eastern terrorists, damsels in distress, ancient Lovecraftian horror and the end of the world.
Only one thing is certain: it will take more than control-alt-delete to sort this mess out…

The stories are Lovecraftian spy thrillers involving a secret history of the 20th century, although they are not set in Lovecraft's universe. Horror elements such as the Nazis using higher mathematics to open "gates" to other dimensions are combined with humorous elements satirizing bureaucracy. The protagonist of both stories is a computer expert calling himself "Bob Oliver Francis Howard" who has been conscripted into a secret British occult intelligence organization, "The Laundry".

Corwyn Allen Live in voice.
(Corwyn has presented in Kitely before at ExploreSeanchai, and we're delighted to have him in the weekly line up just for you!)

"The Atrocity Archives" is a book by British author Charles Stross, published in 2004. It includes the short novel "The Atrocity Archive" (originally serialized in Spectrum SF in Spectrum SF, #7 November, 2001) and "The Concrete Jungle", which won the 2005 Hugo Award for Best Novella.

We will be presenting simultaneously in both Kitely and Second Life. Audiences of all both grids will be able to freely chat to each other during the performance via local text chat
AND will be able to see the audience in the other grid!! This is a really cool bridging of the Grid Divide!
