Hi!

I was just wondering, how come in some sims you can jump with your avatar normally, then others restrict it and you can barely jump? How would you change it so you can jump normally?

Thanks,
Caesar

There is different physics engines and this is probably what you are noticing. The two most popular are Bulletsim and ubode.

Gotcha, and I am assuming I would need BulletSim? How would I go about installing that?

Thank you for the response!

You can set your desired physics engine in /bin/opensim.ini if you run your own simulator.

If people restrict flying on their regions, you also cant jump.
If that annoys you, your viewer likely has a setting to "always fly after a teleport". Mind that only works until you land / stand / sit.

Hi Foxx, thanks for the reply! How would I go about setting my desired physics engine? It says that BulletSim is the default physics engine? What would I have to change in my Opensim.ini?

Thanks in advance!
