I seem to have a problem with mesh and textures. The textures don't seem to work the way they should. Any ides what I'm doing wrong?

Was that in Blender? Did you export your collada file before you textured it?

Yes, it was textured after I placed it in the OS world. So I need to texture it before exporting? What if I want several of the same shape but different textures? Is there a place I can read up on this?

There are many many tutorials out there for this you can find on google search...I find videos pretty helpful...heres a couple that look promising, but you can find others.
