Having recently joined Osgrid and being connected to Website, I see no way to visit the various sims. I did click that I wanted a male avatar, but not had one, I have D/Loaded Firestorm ready to put into use. Can anyone advise me, as I spend hours on the webpage looking if I have over-looked something. Jac Varnish

This page explains how to connect the client you downloaded to a grid. You note it was Firestorm that you downloaded, do make sure it is a version of Firestrom that supports OpenSim (For SL & OpenSim xxbit).

Once you're in-world (installed/configured your client to connect to OSgrid, logged into the 3D world, and are seeing your selected avatar in the viewer) there are several different ways to teleport around but first you gotta get there.

I'm not sure what the default location is for OSgrid currently but I'm sure you'll either land in an area with some avatars hanging around whom will be happy to answer your questions or in an area with signage to explain the basics.
