[11:10] albertlr Landar: well has everyone seen the new article on grids on Hypergrid Business?
[11:11] albertlr Landar: https://www.hypergridbusiness.com/2019/ ... qus_thread
[11:11] albertlr Landar: Osgrid still at the top.
[11:11] LaNani Sundara: :)
[11:11] Moto Sapa: by a lot
[11:11] Total Sorbet: 24k regions!
[11:11] Wizard Atazoth: wooot
[11:12] Total Sorbet: thats a lot
[11:12] albertlr Landar: And we are still the most visited.
[11:12] albertlr Landar: I should mention that I see some movement with new developers
[11:12] albertlr Landar: helping with code.
[11:12] Wizard Atazoth: we got the best community too. tho im biased :p
[11:13] Total Sorbet: good to hear we have new devs
[11:13] Total Sorbet: cant ever have too many of those :)
[11:13] albertlr Landar: thats true.
[11:13] LaNani Sundara: i see a growing numbers of grids and sims on OSG use my opensim version ;)
[11:13] albertlr Landar: and that is good too LaNani.
[11:13] LaNani Sundara: i do not know if that is good or not
[11:13] LaNani Sundara: :)
[11:14] LaNani Sundara: it is just happening
[11:14] albertlr Landar: well the more people involved in it, the better the end result I say.
[11:14] Total Sorbet: v true
[11:15] LaNani Sundara: i think the transition from a 0.8.x to mine is easier and maybe will help as a stepping stone to try the new official version one day
[11:15] albertlr Landar: agreed
[11:15] albertlr Landar: Should mention the Birthday regions are still up till the end of August.
[11:16] albertlr Landar: And we had a 17+ contribution to our Bank account from AmazonSmile this month.
[11:16] albertlr Landar: Total in Bank is now $5,719.45
[11:16] Total Sorbet: nice :))
[11:16] Wizard Atazoth: awesome
[11:17] LaNani Sundara: :) great
[11:17] Foxx Bode: been worse....
[11:17] Foxx Bode: :)
[11:17] albertlr Landar: That's in addition to our paypal balance that is usually around $3,000 on Average.
[11:17] LaNani Sundara: o
[11:18] Foxx Bode: 9 months of hosting costs. So 100 % guarantee we make it to 2020 :)
[11:19] Total Sorbet: :DDD
[11:19] albertlr Landar: So anything else going on on Osgrid, or opensim community?
[11:20] albertlr Landar: No bad news, is always good news.
[11:20] Wizard Atazoth: if not mentioned earlier. new build out thanks to dan https://twitter.com/osgrid/status/1162678164461690885
[11:21] albertlr Landar: Oh thanks Wizard, did not see that.
[11:21] Moto Sapa: got the netframworks 4.8 fix from ubit
[11:21] albertlr Landar: and did that help with things?
[11:21] LaNani Sundara: today i installed a windows update on one of my windows servers and after reboot all teleports to the regions failed, had to revert the update
[11:21] Moto Sapa: speedeed this up
[11:22] Moto Sapa: start up and region loading much faster
[11:23] Total Sorbet: im prob due an update or two :p
[11:23] Foxx Bode: .NET 4.8 ?
[11:23] Moto Sapa: yep
[11:23] Total Sorbet: still plagued by missing prims on login :(
[11:23] Moto Sapa: 6.0.2?
[11:23] albertlr Landar: well destination guild on website seems to working better since Dan refreshed it.
[11:23] LaNani Sundara: ty Dan :)
[11:24] Moto Sapa: i do the browser clean before log out now
[11:24] LaNani Sundara: Ubit said to stick to mono 5.x for now
[11:24] Foxx Bode: From the Mantis Per Ubit ...

those with .net4.8 please try this:
in files OpenSim.exe.config, OpenSim32.exe.config and Robust.exe.config in section RunTime, add the line:

<useLegacyJit enabled="1" />

ie where it reads:

<runtime>
<loadFromRemoteSources enabled="true" />
</runtime>

change to:

<runtime>
<loadFromRemoteSources enabled="true" />
<useLegacyJit enabled="1" />
</runtime>

this should disable the new (broken) JIT reverting to the one of .net4.5(?)
bad, but not as bad as running all in Debug mode.

please let us know the result...
[11:25] Foxx Bode: this should be fixed or worked around in the new version btw
[11:25] Moto Sapa: i was running the debug mode talk about time delays
[11:25] Total Sorbet: im mono 5.18.0.240 nani
[11:25] LaNani Sundara: that should be fine Total
[11:26] Total Sorbet: its the viewer caching i think
[11:26] Total Sorbet prods viewer with a stick
[11:26] Wizard Atazoth: lol
[11:26] Moto Sapa: befor i enteredthat the prims would jump off region even it it was linked to a part in the sim like a surround
[11:27] Moto Sapa: had to fix it ever time i went there
[11:27] LaNani Sundara: lovely
[11:27] Moto Sapa: new net fix helped
[11:27] Foxx Bode: -*- HeLlO-*-
[11:28] Azi Az: hello everyone :)))
[11:28] Total Sorbet: hi azi
[11:28] LaNani Sundara: hihi
[11:28] albertlr Landar: Greetings Azi and Danger
[11:28] Total Sorbet: hi danger
[11:29] George Equus: Hi Azi, Danger
[11:30] Moto Sapa: o and it fixed the chat avatar age being missing
[11:31] albertlr Landar: yea, notice the profile age is correct, but website age is younger.
[11:31] albertlr Landar: maybe that can be fixed one day.
[11:31] Jeff Hall is Online
[11:32] Moto Sapa: got to be a entry difference some where
[11:32] Moto Sapa: mm
[11:32] Foxx Bode: that might be slightly more challenging than you'd imagine :)
[11:32] albertlr Landar: when website was updated the database was reset to that date when we rejoined it.
[11:32] Total Sorbet: yup
[11:32] Moto Sapa: could that be why stuff disappears are differences
[11:33] George Equus: Hi Jeff
[11:33] albertlr Landar: no website is separate, it takes data from grid not the other way around.
[11:33] Moto Sapa: like pc clock and you cant use many products
[11:33] Jeff Hall: hi everyone
[11:33] Total Sorbet: hi jeff
[11:33] Foxx Bode: -*- HeLlO-*-
[11:33] Azi Az: Hi Jeff :))))
[11:34] albertlr Landar: Hi Jeff.
[11:34] LaNani Sundara: hi Jeff
[11:34] albertlr Landar: any improvement on getting things into the destination guide for you on website?
[11:35] Danger Lytton: nope
[11:35] Danger Lytton: i still couldn't get it to work
[11:35] albertlr Landar: hum, well I would talk more with Dan, as he is best one to help with that.
[11:36] Jeff Hall: mine works but got into a duplicate while it isnt working for Caro
[11:36] Danger Lytton: the one that dan gave me last week poofs within a few seconds after rezzing
[11:36] Moto Sapa: same issue with the outworldz version
[11:36] Moto Sapa: ossl errors
[11:36] Danger Lytton: and the group version gives me error messages
[11:36] albertlr Landar: hum sounds like permission thing.
[11:36] Foxx Bode: Else we can always put another Sign at "Large Boards & Signs Attention Plaza". there's only like 74 now,
[11:37] Jeff Hall: no thats a stupid line make gizmo die cos it doesn't recognize u as parcel owner
[11:37] Jeff Hall: 'wear' the gizmo and look at (...)
[11:41] George Equus: Funny this is still on debate... https://www.hypergridbusiness.com/2019/ ... g-overdue/
[11:41] George Equus: Darn LL
[11:42] LaNani Sundara: :)
[11:42] LaNani Sundara: i have to go :) have a great day
[11:42] albertlr Landar: Ok good day, LaNani take care.
[11:42] Azi Az: Tc Lanani :)))
[11:42] George Equus: vu Lanani
[11:42] Total Sorbet: tc nani
[11:42] albertlr Landar: Say cool
[11:42] LaNani Sundara is Offline
[11:42] albertlr Landar: stay
[11:43] albertlr Landar: I just use a camera adjustment view as needed.
[11:44] Total Sorbet: same
[11:44] Total Sorbet: eyes on storks :p
[11:44] albertlr Landar: Problem with avatars, is we don't have tactile response from body or hands of Avatar, so we sort of have to view it avoid collisions.
[11:44] Total Sorbet: stalks even
[11:45] Moto Sapa: i have a camera setup on m grid for mini or wee people
[11:45] albertlr Landar: Yea, I had one for low views I have used in the past myself.
[11:45] Moto Sapa: brings it down and closer
[11:45] George Equus: right. But many items you find are still way to big... I always have to resize furniture to fit my avatar, which is RL size
[11:46] Moto Sapa: scaling has always been a issue
[11:47] Total Sorbet: average avatar is way taller than rl generally
[11:47] Total Sorbet: door heights here are dizzy
[11:47] albertlr Landar: When that Mesh Castle was first released here on opensim, I found that I had to rezize it for any interior use.
[11:47] Moto Sapa: and camera is at 12 feet
[11:47] George Equus: Made a to RL scale model of my apartment, it feels just right when walking around in it
[11:47] Total Sorbet: oh cool george
[11:48] Total Sorbet: bet that was a fun build
[11:48] George Equus: just bare bone to test if this talk about the need for builds to be larger to feel "natural" They don't
[11:49] Foxx Bode: All my regions are extremely over sized. Was way to happy to get rid of the 10M LL enforced limits. 250 meter prims, yeah baby...
[11:49] Total Sorbet: lols
[11:49] Total Sorbet: 20 foot doors for u foxx
[11:49] Total Sorbet: :)
[11:49] George Equus: I set camera to look from where my eyes are
[11:49] albertlr Landar: well google says the average rl height of a man in the us is 5'9"
[11:50] albertlr Landar: 175.4 centimeters
[11:50] George Equus: I am 6
[11:50] albertlr Landar: I am just average.
[11:50] Moto Sapa: im 6,3 in rl and bang head on low doorways in rl
[11:50] George Equus: 182 cm
[11:50] Moto Sapa: duck and step old navy term
[11:51] Total Sorbet: 5'2" so here is biggg
[11:51] albertlr Landar: average woman in us is 5' 4"
[11:51] George Equus: It is a problem for woman here, avatars can't be small enough
[11:52] Total Sorbet: do sl still have a prim size limit?
[11:52] Moto Sapa: 64
[11:52] George Equus: If they want to be as tall as in RL that is :)
[11:52] Em Jannings is Online
[11:52] Azi Az: i don't agree with those measurements
[11:53] Azi Az: i make everything big cause always have hard time in small builds with cam
[11:54] Moto Sapa: get used to mouse view
[11:54] Azi Az: doesnt work for me
[11:54] George Equus: I rebuilt builds originating in SL, halved the prim count here on many because we allow larger prims
[11:54] albertlr Landar: just wish all builders would make things resizeble, and especially wearables.
[11:54] Total Sorbet: wearables definitely
[11:54] George Equus: All about how you use cam Azi. I have no problems with cramped spaces
[11:55] Moto Sapa: not easy with mesh
[11:55] George Equus: Mesh have its draw backs..
[11:55] albertlr Landar: just wish someone would come up with in world mesh tools like there are for prims.
[11:55] albertlr Landar: it would become more propular if they did that.
[11:55] Total Sorbet: mesh creation inworld would be awesome
[11:56] Moto Sapa: ya
[11:56] Total Sorbet: even if simplified
[11:56] Azi Az: That would be Perfect Albertir :))))
[11:56] Azi Az: cant wait forr it
[11:56] Azi Az: lol
[11:56] George Equus: Mesh can look really great but those that do are always custom made for a single application
[11:56] albertlr Landar: well maybe we can lobby the new opensim Firestorm to consider it.
[11:57] Total Sorbet: or abilty to join link prims and have it rendered as mesh :p
[11:57] George Equus: That ability I would love to see
[11:57] George Equus: got a 60 000 prim build to handle.... sigh
[11:58] Total Sorbet: lols crunch time :p
[11:58] LowLag OS-AO-Male: Touch to disable
[11:58] Jeff Hall: time for me to go, ty albert and have fun everyone
[11:58] George Equus: Bye Jeff
[11:58] albertlr Landar: Well as we get to top of hour, reminder to visit the Birthday regions if you have not already done so. they will remain up until the end of August.
[11:58] Azi Az: Tc Jeff :))))
[11:59] albertlr Landar: Bye Jeff
[11:59] Jeff Hall is Offline
[11:59] George Equus: Off to update the SIM :)
[11:59] albertlr Landar: And thanks for coming, today. Take care everyone.
[11:59] Total Sorbet: tc george
[11:59] Danger Lytton: goood afternooon all
[11:59] George Equus: Thank you Albert
[11:59] Danger Lytton: we are off then
[11:59] albertlr Landar: So we shall adjourn and see you next week.
[11:59] Total Sorbet: bye all :)
[11:59] George Equus: Bye all
[11:59] Azi Az: back to our buildings tc everyone :))))
[12:00] albertlr Landar: good luck with your building Azi
[12:00] Wizard Atazoth: well im out. tc all ^_^
