[10:59:27] albertlr Landar: hello
[10:59:32] Kayaker Magic: Hello all!
[10:59:40] Arielle Popstar: Hi Kay
[10:59:58] Arielle Popstar: you announce this on the group chats
[11:00:00] Kayaker Magic: Arielle!

[11:00:48] Arielle Popstar: people so forgetful
[11:00:55] Arielle Popstar: well i am anyway
[11:00:57] albertlr Landar: If you are signed up as a member should get it.
[11:01:17] albertlr Landar: Look like they have at least 4 regions up and running.
[11:01:19] Kayaker Magic: I wanted to set up something but have been hip deep in busyness...
[11:01:35] albertlr Landar: Will need to check with the other Admin for latest however.
[11:01:47] albertlr Landar: Hopefully Wizard and Foxx will attend today.
[11:02:32] Kayaker Magic whispers: Am I too late to get a parcel to set a few items out for OSG13B
[11:02:35] Kayaker Magic: ?
[11:03:34] albertlr Landar: should not be. As they can always add additional regions if needed.
[11:03:51] albertlr Landar: Thats the way it was working in the past.
[11:04:09] Kayaker Magic: I was thinking of setting out a few mechanical broncos... would be fun for people to jump on and ride.
[11:04:27] albertlr Landar: yea, that would work.
[11:04:53] Kayaker Magic: What is the procedure? How do I reserve a parcel?
[11:04:58] albertlr Landar: Speaking of Western theme that is what is going to be the Theme of the Fundraiser events in September.
[11:05:14] albertlr Landar: Just contact Wizard of Foxx or Jim Jackson and ask for one.
[11:05:22] albertlr Landar: Or DAn for that matter.
[11:05:35] albertlr Landar: They will set you up.
[11:05:46] Kayaker Magic: And they may be here soon.....
[11:05:51] Arielle Popstar: just tried sending a group message but not going through it seems
[11:05:51] Arielle Popstar: test
[11:05:51] Arielle Popstar: test
[11:05:55] Kayaker Magic: test
[11:06:29] albertlr Landar: Well I see Wizard and Dan signed in today on OSgrid.
[11:06:43] albertlr Landar: Hello Jagga welcome
[11:07:00] mika mesmeriser: hello
[11:07:10] Jagga Meradith: hi
[11:07:59] Kayaker Magic: Search for people is not working! It says Searching... and never finishes.
[11:08:11] Jagga Meradith: odd - sit doesn't work
[11:08:42] Arielle Popstar: lot of chat lag
[11:08:42] Arielle Popstar: Hi
[11:08:42] Arielle Popstar: i see it working for you
[11:08:45] Jagga Meradith: ok
[11:09:10] albertlr Landar: I sometime have to log out and back on for chat lag.
[11:09:19] albertlr Landar: It usually fixes the chat lag.
[11:09:25] Jagga Meradith: well then I'll just stand here and blower
[11:09:32] Jagga Meradith: glower
[11:09:38] Arielle Popstar: oh it is on a personal level, not a region one?
[11:09:44] Kayaker Magic: I don;t have lag, i just can't get search to work.
[11:10:00] mika mesmeriser: I see you sitting Jagga
[11:10:10] Arielle Popstar: were you just trying the search Kay?
[11:10:16] Arielle Popstar: trying
[11:10:17] Jagga Meradith: I'm on 6.0,2, did you guys break something?
[11:10:27] Arielle Popstar: wasn't me!
[11:10:41] Arielle Popstar: 6.0.2 here too
[11:11:01] Jagga Meradith: don't upgrade - it breaks stuff on other grids
[11:11:02] Arielle Popstar: maybe Kay tied up a thread with search function :)
[11:11:19] Arielle Popstar: yeah been seeing issues with TP
[11:11:59] Kayaker Magic: 6.3.9 for me. Doe that effect searching?
[11:12:18] George Equus: Evening all, sorry I am late..
[11:12:26] Arielle Popstar: Hi George
[11:12:28] Jagga Meradith: am I in your spot?
[11:12:29] albertlr Landar: Hello George welcome
[11:12:45] George Equus: Thank you Albert
[11:13:05] albertlr Landar: Greetings Dragon.
[11:13:20] Kayaker Magic: Hello George, Dragon.
[11:13:21] Dragon Fist: hi Albertlr
[11:13:27] Arielle Popstar: were you searching in firestorm search or contact Kayaker?
[11:13:33] Dragon Fist: everyone!

[11:13:35] George Equus: No jagga :)
[11:13:36] Dragon Fist: ***HELLO*** :)
[11:13:41] mika mesmeriser: Hello
[11:13:42] Dragon Fist: hi Arielle
[11:13:47] albertlr Landar: So the official opening of the Birthday regions will be Monday.
[11:13:50] Kayaker Magic: Yeah, I can't search for avatars or groups. Can't even search for myself.
[11:14:01] albertlr Landar: But you can visit them now if you wish to look around.
[11:14:20] Kayaker Magic: What are the region names?
[11:14:33] George Equus: OSG13B
[11:14:37] albertlr Landar: just do a Map Search for OSG13B
[11:14:50] Jagga Meradith: no search in 6.0.2 either
[11:14:57] albertlr Landar: It will bring up the first one. Then it has teleports of it to go to the other ones.
[11:14:59] Arielle Popstar: osg13 not found
[11:15:06] Kayaker Magic: Whew! Map searches still work for me.
[11:15:14] albertlr Landar: Map search
[11:15:52] mika mesmeriser: comes up for me ok all the birthday regions
[11:16:11] albertlr Landar: They are all surrounding Event Plaza
[11:16:56] albertlr Landar: Technically Event is always set up as the first region in the center of the other ones.
[11:18:27] Kayaker Magic: I'm going to relog in an older FireStorm. BRB
[11:18:31] [secondlife:///app/agent/95c7aca2-1965-4df9-af94-cdcbe7afed0a/about Kayaker Magic] is Offline

[11:20:40] Wizard Atazoth: hi all ^_^
[11:20:50] albertlr Landar: Hi Wizard
[11:21:01] Moto Sapa: hay wiz
[11:21:39] Moto Sapa: i figured out my grid issue cant run 2 different instances of the same ipadress
[11:21:45] albertlr Landar: I think that Kayaker wanted to claim a display area on the Birthday regions, I hope they are still available.
[11:21:57] Wizard Atazoth: For the birthday regions, OSG13B1 & 2 are full. There are still some spots on B3.
[11:22:16] Wizard Atazoth: ah cool
[11:22:28] Wizard Atazoth: yea we can get you one
[11:22:47] Arielle Popstar: test
[11:22:51] Arielle Popstar: better
[11:22:52] Kayaker Magic: test
[11:23:04] Kayaker Magic: What are you testing?
[11:23:07] Moto Sapa: hi kayaker
[11:23:11] albertlr Landar: greetings Orb
[11:23:17] Jagga Meradith: IDGI. Arielle waltzes in, sits right down. From my viewer rest of us are standing around looking like idiots
[11:23:17] Kayaker Magic: Hi Moto!
[11:23:20] Arielle Popstar: c hat lag
[11:23:28] albertlr Landar: And Moto
[11:23:43] Kayaker Magic: I have no chat lag today....
[11:23:49] Arielle Popstar: think Hurliman is cursed
[11:23:54] Jagga Meradith: yup
[11:23:58] Moto Sapa: lol
[11:24:00] albertlr Landar: yea, it seems to pop up sometimes.
[11:24:00] Arielle Popstar: its always been problematic
[11:24:07] Jagga Meradith: ah
[11:24:08] Arielle Popstar: even when it was called Bade
[11:24:24] albertlr Landar: I have found that if I get too may IM's that seems to cause it in Singularity at least.
[11:24:40] Jagga Meradith: meh, I'll just stand here and make people nervous
[11:24:48] Moto Sapa: well fixed the huds for bento products
[11:24:54] albertlr Landar: Never had that problem with Firestorm.
[11:25:44] Arielle Popstar: the best viewer at any time flip flops between sing and FS
[11:25:59] Arielle Popstar: my experience anyway
[11:26:01] albertlr Landar: yea, that is usually what I do.
[11:26:49] Moto Sapa: found a issue with the osgrid instructions for the opensim ini per instance set the grid listen to 9000, then next instance to v9001, ect
[11:26:53] Arielle Popstar: so whats on the agenda meeting wise?
[11:27:27] albertlr Landar: well anything that you wish to discuss or bring up today.
[11:27:31] Jagga Meradith: Moto skiip one number
[11:27:43] Jagga Meradith: 9000, 9002, 9004
[11:28:05] Moto Sapa: the listing was duplicated not set in auto
[11:28:24] Moto Sapa: good idea
[11:28:34] Kayaker Magic: Moto: I have all different port numbers for several servers and instances, the only restriction I have found is my router needs to be told to let them through.
[11:28:36] Jagga Meradith: the next number up is used internally for something
[11:29:03] Moto Sapa: teleports.htm
[11:30:11] Jagga Meradith: gave up on my NAT loopback issue. Found a compatible router for $CAN 89. Hooking it up later today
[11:30:12] Kayaker Magic: At the moment I am using 9000, 9001,9005,9006,9008,9010 with no problems.
[11:30:36] Kayaker Magic: (has gaps from former regions no longer up)
[11:30:56] Moto Sapa: in opensim.ini there is the ssl connection if used for 9001 for listen at 9000
[11:31:05] Arielle Popstar: oh you had troubles with the loopback too lately Jagga?
[11:31:17] Jagga Meradith: yup
[11:31:29] Arielle Popstar: just in the past week or two?
[11:31:37] Wizard Atazoth: i use one region per instance. ect http listener: 9000, regions.ini 9000. next instance 9001 and so on.
[11:31:38] Jagga Meradith: ongoing
[11:32:01] Arielle Popstar: did you try ther MS loopback adapter?
[11:32:11] Jagga Meradith: server is inside firewall. ISP supplied firewall won't do loopback so had to use VPN, which broke other things
[11:32:14] Jagga Meradith: I'm on linux
[11:32:34] Arielle Popstar: which isp?
[11:32:38] Jagga Meradith: TELUS
[11:32:41] Moto Sapa: i have my loopback on wan address at 1.2 g
[11:33:03] Moto Sapa: mictosoft loopback is just a tester
[11:33:18] Moto Sapa: at autoconfig at 10m
[11:33:26] Jagga Meradith: Edgerouter X
[11:33:51] Jagga Meradith: 4 ports with POE
[11:33:57] Jagga Meradith: 6 port version as well
[11:34:17] albertlr Landar: and you have consulted with Foxx on this?
[11:34:30] Jagga Meradith: yes. attended the Tuesday meeting
[11:34:34] Jagga Meradith: general consensus
[11:34:36] albertlr Landar: ok
[11:34:39] Arielle Popstar: oh ok. I have used the adapter successfully for a long time but recently it was deleted after a windows update and after a reinstall it doesnt wortk on the server and client machine
[11:34:58] Jagga Meradith: they said no software solution reliable, go hardware
[11:35:11] Arielle Popstar: it is the best way
[11:35:16] Jagga Meradith: given the price, agree
[11:35:23] Jagga Meradith: thought it was going to be thousands
[11:35:31] Arielle Popstar: oh no
[11:35:36] albertlr Landar: well I have actually two networks running in my house.
[11:35:42] Moto Sapa: most routers the nat loopback is slow and small ram
[11:35:55] Jagga Meradith: most new routers it's not even available
[11:36:09] Jagga Meradith: especially ISP supplied
[11:36:16] Moto Sapa: or firmware removed
[11:36:17] albertlr Landar: I ready had a ASUS Router, and had to get a AT&T when they provided me with Fiber optics connection.
[11:36:35] albertlr Landar: So Have the Asus behind the AT&T Router.
[11:36:43] Arielle Popstar: TP-Link, Cisco
[11:36:45] Kayaker Magic wishes fiber would come to my neighborhood!
[11:37:13] Jagga Meradith: some of my older routers had it, but 100 mb only
[11:37:17] albertlr Landar: I also had DirecTV, but just switched to AT&T TV which is all Fiber optics now.
[11:37:21] Moto Sapa: best way modem then router
[11:37:33] Jagga Meradith: yup
[11:37:59] albertlr Landar: But I have found that only Foxx understands all these proper connections and settings.
[11:38:25] albertlr Landar: As he did that for a living
[11:38:30] Jagga Meradith: yup
[11:38:33] Jagga Meradith: guy at store was helpful
[11:38:33] Moto Sapa: not every one is a it eng
[11:38:37] albertlr Landar: Luck to have him here.
[11:38:56] Jagga Meradith: Memory Express
[11:39:35] Arielle Popstar: one other thing to be wary of is the loopback implementations on routers are such they block certain hyperjumps
[11:39:47] Arielle Popstar: on some
[11:39:50] Jagga Meradith: ok
[11:39:52] Arielle Popstar: like d-link
[11:40:14] Moto Sapa: installed a regedit for take ownership of software and took owner ship of lkoopack now i got control
[11:40:18] [secondlife:///app/agent/c0e70f2f-4812-4b4f-a4a0-891e4d3fad1e/about Chamilla Mocha] is Offline
[11:41:19] Arielle Popstar: when you log into a region on Osgid for example, the router hands the viewer an internal ip like 192.168.0.14
[11:41:23] Elie Vespucciano: bye all
[11:41:35] albertlr Landar: Bye Elie
[11:41:41] albertlr Landar: take care
[11:43:25] Jagga Meradith: dammit, that's what I'm trying to fix
[11:43:32] Arielle Popstar: ?
[11:43:53] Jagga Meradith: my region's on an internal server
[11:44:02] Jagga Meradith: i've got port forwarding from router
[11:44:15] Jagga Meradith: so regions.ini is set to router address
[11:44:15] Kayaker Magic: That's how I'm set up also
[11:44:36] Arielle Popstar: Lan IP?
[11:44:45] Jagga Meradith: 192.168.something
[11:44:57] Arielle Popstar: in the region.ini?
[11:44:58] Jagga Meradith: pc is on same segment
[11:45:23] Arielle Popstar: Internal Address= 0.0.0.0
[11:45:57] Arielle Popstar: or External Hostname=?
[11:46:25] Moto Sapa: hp.osgrid.org if running a region
[11:47:10] Arielle Popstar: should be one's own IP or hostname
[11:47:15] Arielle Popstar: on external
[11:47:43] Jagga Meradith: external 199.126.something
[11:47:54] Arielle Popstar: GridCommon.ini has the osgrid adresses
[11:48:21] Arielle Popstar: you dont have a hostname ?
[11:48:36] Arielle Popstar: can get free ones at no-ip.org
[11:48:39] Jagga Meradith: yes, got one
[11:48:46] Dragon Fist: Have a Great Day Take Care
[11:48:46] Dragon Fist: everyone I'm gonna head out
[11:48:53] Arielle Popstar: tc Dragon
[11:48:54] Dragon Fist: *☮❤ Hugs n Stuff❤ ☮* :D
[11:48:55] Moto Sapa: laterz
[11:48:58] albertlr Landar: Ok goodbye Dragon
[11:49:16] Orb Nim: see you Dragon
[11:49:21] Orb Nim: Dragon
[11:49:43] albertlr Landar: Remember that the Birthday regions are officially opened this coming Monday the 20th.
[11:49:44] Jagga Meradith: still doesn't solve issue. router sees attempt by PC to get at a local address from net address and blocks it. Defionition of NAT loop back
[11:50:03] Jagga Meradith: I'm tired. I'm just going hardware
[11:50:04] albertlr Landar: And they still have display regions open if you wish to participate
[11:50:12] Arielle Popstar: ask someone else if they can access it
[11:50:20] Arielle Popstar: from an external ip
[11:50:22] Jagga Meradith: Ic an access from VPN
[11:50:26] Jagga Meradith: everybody else can get in
[11:50:29] Jagga Meradith: just not me
[11:51:23] albertlr Landar: you could always consider going with an external host.
[11:51:39] Jagga Meradith: no, hardware is sitting on my desk
[11:51:44] albertlr Landar: which does cost.
[11:52:01] Arielle Popstar: i sometimes use the Host file too and direct external IP to machine IP
[11:52:06] albertlr Landar: I mean I moved my regions to a server in Canada.
[11:52:17] albertlr Landar: pay them $49 a month.
[11:52:22] Arielle Popstar: oh
[11:52:27] Moto Sapa: my external host name for osgrid is my wan address
[11:52:28] Arielle Popstar: big server?
[11:52:43] albertlr Landar: well its a SSD card
[11:52:48] Arielle Popstar: MIne tyoo Moto
[11:53:11] Moto Sapa: port foward udp and tcp to lan
[11:53:22] Jagga Meradith: did that
[11:53:38] albertlr Landar: on OVH servers
[11:53:39] Wizard Atazoth: they have some good sales now and then through ovh
[11:54:03] Arielle Popstar: contabo has some good deals too
[11:54:12] Arielle Popstar: i do like OHV though
[11:54:13] Jagga Meradith: yeah, they're in germany
[11:54:20] Arielle Popstar: as they are close tyo me
[11:54:33] Wizard Atazoth: or soyoustart if you dont mind a little older HW but still ovh centers
[11:54:44] albertlr Landar: https://www.soyoustart.com/us/
[11:54:52] Arielle Popstar: they have servers in the usa too now Jagga
[11:55:07] albertlr Landar: yea they are down to 42 now
[11:55:14] Moto Sapa: i use dydns free
[11:55:30] Kayaker Magic: Yeah, I moved some regions to a Contabo server, ~USD20$ a month for the setup I chose.
[11:55:30] Moto Sapa: had issues wit no-ip
[11:56:16] Arielle Popstar: linux Kay?
[11:56:40] Arielle Popstar: they had a cheap windows option i was impressed with
[11:56:55] Arielle Popstar: mind you i still prefer running from home
[11:56:58] Kayaker Magic: Yes, they have WinCows as an extra cost option but I prefer Linux/Ubuntu
[11:58:21] Kayaker Magic: I have some regions at home, some in the cloud now. Home ISP is not suitable for venues, moved those to the cloud with better connectivity.
[11:59:19] albertlr Landar: well as its getting to 12 noon, guess we can disband for this week. And I please everyone be safe and careful in the real world.
[11:59:42] George Equus: Thanks Albert. tc all
[11:59:44] Moto Sapa: dont breath
[12:00:08] George Equus: Bye

[12:00:49] albertlr Landar: Bye all take care.
[12:00:59] Kayaker Magic: I'm off to the birthday regions!
[12:01:01] Arielle Popstar: tc
