 Post subject: Texture animation script

I've done a simple texture animation script as follows:

default
{
state_entry()
{
llSetTextureAnim( ANIM_ON|LOOP|SMOOTH, ALL_SIDES, 1, 1, 0, 1, -0.05 );
}
}

This works fine when I install into my prim. However, when I take the prim and rez is somewhere else, the animation has stopped and I have to recompile the scripts to make it run again. I've even tried changing the state_entry to on_rez but it made no different.

I've also noticed the same thing happening with other peoples scripts on items I've copied but others seem to work find.

Any ideas?

Try this, it covers all possibilities.

i find that once the script is in & working that i cant then adjust the texture-ie: shrink or grow the texture in the Edit>Texture> Repeat per face so if the texture is stretched & needs adjust-it is not possible, i can Rotate it no problem.
