Just wondering what the best practice is for attached regions when the main grid goes offline (such as ongoing at the moment) - is it best to leave them up or shut them down? I see lots of timeouts and retry message for assets so not sure if leaving things up will help then get stored or will lead to potential corruption?

If i'm aware the grid is down, i normally just switch my servers off. I kill the process, no graceful shutdown, so the region remains on the map, and than start them again when the grid is back. (NB, not saying this is best practice here, it is just what i do). Saves me huge chunks of logs with irrelevant messages, and nobody can get there anyways.
Leaving it up should not lead to corruptions though as its typically just access being unavailable, not data being 'broken'. It'll be back when access is restored.

I've taken the opportunity to restart my server. I'll check again tomorrow to make sure everything is fine. AFAIK, even after a clean shutdown, you should be safe for 48 hours. If not, I'll do a hard shutdown until the grid is back.

Never failed me yet with a standard restart during downtime.
