A meeting of the membership of OSgrid, Inc. has been set by the Board of Directors for June 9th, 2019 at 11 AM at Hurliman Plaza. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss, make plans and answer questions about our up coming 12th Birthday Celebrations for OSgrid which will be held this year July 22nd thru the 25th. We will also be discussing our up coming fundraiser this year which has been set for September 20-27th, 2019. Your participation in these upcoming events as well as this meeting is appreciated.

The Birthday regions are now up and open for those that wish to claim parcels for their exhibits. Signs with links to the regions are located at Event Plaza, Lbsa Plaza and Hurliman Plaza. Claim yours before the good spots are taken. You can directly teleport to view the Birthday regions at OSG12B1, OSG12B2, OSG12B3, & OSG12B4 by entering those regions in the map search of your viewer. Please talk with any Admin to claim a parcel.

1. No profanity, adult material, nudity or offensive builds, themes or textures are allowed. This includes any objects, textures, avatars!

2. No physical objects. No physical prims of any kind including vehicles. If you wish to have a vehicle displayed please remove scripts. This does not apply to boxed objects eg. vehicle in a vendor or otherwise offered as a gift.

3. Your exhibit should stay within the boundary of your parcel or as reasonably close as possible. Objects obstructing common areas or other exhibits are subject to removal

4. No forced teleports allowed. If you want to place a teleporter in your exhibit it must be labeled and require some method involving a click or opening the user's map, etc.

5. Please try to make sure the objects and scripts you use do not affect the health of the simulator or other builders in the region.

6. Please use only original content, licensed as creative-commons, or in the public domain. Content that is questionable will most likely be removed from the region. Be creative and original!

7. Exhibits should be finished no later than July 19th. The exhibit regions will be kept online approx a month after the celebration and will be deleted afterwards. There is no need to be concerned with clean up as new regions are created each year.

8. Prim limit is 676 per parcel and are enforced.

9. We reserve the right to amend these basic rules at any time.

[11:10] albertlr Landar: Hello everyone. thanks for coming.
[11:10] Foxx Bode: who chose this music ?
[11:11] albertlr Landar: First i wanted to direct everyone's attention to our financial report for 2018
[11:11] albertlr Landar: which has been posted in the Osgrid wiki
[11:11] Koni Lanzius: hehehe
[11:11] albertlr Landar: http://wiki.osgrid.org/index.php/Financials
[11:11] albertlr Landar: If everyone will browse to it.
[11:11] albertlr Landar: There is good news there
[11:12] albertlr Landar: First we have increased our end of year balance to the highest it has been since 2013
[11:12] rachel rose: yay
[11:12] albertlr Landar: Total contributions for last year was up
[11:12] albertlr Landar: operating expenses were down.
[11:12] Koni Lanzius: ~** APPLAUSE **~
[11:13] albertlr Landar: disbursements were down mainly because of the changes to new servers.
[11:13] albertlr Landar: which cost us less money over all.
[11:13] Sandy Beachcomber: Breakdown of Monthly OSgrid Disbursements link isnt working
[11:13] albertlr Landar: ok will have to check that out then.
[11:13] Koni Lanzius: worked for me
[11:13] albertlr Landar: but the amount has been consistent.
[11:14] albertlr Landar: https://www.osgrid.org/donation_usage.php
[11:14] albertlr Landar: try that link
[11:14] albertlr Landar: So we are in pretty good shape financially.
[11:15] Sandy Beachcomber: that works, ty
[11:15] albertlr Landar: so going into our 12th year in operation we have some good news
[11:15] Koni Lanzius: ~**YAY!!!!**~
[11:15] rachel rose: ♫~♫ Applause ♫~♫
[11:16] albertlr Landar: We want to encourage everyone to consider events for the Birthday if you can, and if so please share them with the admins so we can get your info out to the other members.
[11:16] albertlr Landar: We now have MeWe website that replaces the closed G+ social media pages that google closed
[11:16] albertlr Landar: If you have not yet joined it please do so.
[11:17] albertlr Landar: https://mewe.com/join/osgridinc
[11:17] albertlr Landar: here is the link to do so.
[11:17] albertlr Landar: now for dates
[11:17] albertlr Landar: The Birthday dates are July 22-28th, 2019
[11:18] albertlr Landar: plots are available right now for your builds.
[11:18] albertlr Landar: Please pass that info on to your friends if they have not yet participated.
[11:18] albertlr Landar: friends
[11:18] hipster flower is Online
[11:18] paela argus: cool =)
[11:19] albertlr Landar: We also have set Sept 20-27th, 2019 for the upcoming annual Fundraiser.
[11:19] albertlr Landar: Details and more info on that will come later.
[11:19] albertlr Landar: But we do want to encourage those that may wish to offer items for the successful auction we had last year. To let an Admin know if you want to contribute something.
[11:20] albertlr Landar: We will be forming a committee to work on that, but again more details will be reveled at a later date.
[11:20] Jeff Hall: may i suggest to do auction the way it went last year? was very good
[11:20] albertlr Landar: For now the Birthday is our main project.
[11:20] Koni Lanzius: it was good. Brilliant in fact
[11:20] albertlr Landar: So please contribute towards its success if you can.
[11:20] Koni Lanzius: yea
[11:21] albertlr Landar: Now does anyone have an questions about the Birthday, and or suggestions of how we can make it even better than the past.
[11:21] albertlr Landar: i would like to ask someone to help with making us a 12th Birthday T-Shirt.
[11:22] albertlr Landar: Or a cap maybe.
[11:22] Jeff Hall: yes albert: i just wonder how we could have more people visiting exhibits? it gets relatively not known
[11:22] albertlr Landar: Maybe make a Board with a listing of the various places.
[11:22] Jeff Hall: and have more people doing also
[11:23] Sandy Beachcomber: move lbsa/landing area into the exhibit area
[11:23] Koni Lanzius: we could do a hypergrid biz article
[11:23] Wizard Atazoth: We have teleport signs at LBSA now for the birthday regions.
[11:23] albertlr Landar: And the article would be a good start.
[11:23] Koni Lanzius: i will arrange that
[11:24] Jeff Hall: i don't know how but should link more event plaza to exhibits, not only with boards on arrival at center since most of people don't look at unfortunately
[11:24] albertlr Landar: Maybe put copies of the teleport boards on all of the plazas
[11:24] albertlr Landar: even the residential ones.
[11:26] albertlr Landar: What about having a large birthday cake with candles on Event Plaza for the opening.
[11:26] Koni Lanzius: oh nice idea
[11:26] albertlr Landar: 12 candles.
[11:26] Koni Lanzius: :)
[11:26] Jeff Hall: with a naked miss OSgrid inside?
[11:26] Koni Lanzius: ~** HAHAHA! **~
[11:26] rachel rose: 0.o
[11:26] Danger Lytton: i like sandy's idea - not the entire lbsa - but mayb make B1 the welcome landing zone for the month of July
[11:26] Jim Jackson: tsk tsk
[11:26] Koni Lanzius: ahh
[11:27] albertlr Landar: then fireworks when they are lit.
[11:27] Jeff Hall: more seriously it could be nice albert
[11:27] albertlr Landar: yea
[11:27] Sandy Beachcomber: ty Danger
[11:27] Sandy Beachcomber: it gets people there
[11:27] paela argus: just warning with scripts usage in regions
[11:27] paela argus: ;)
[11:27] Jeff Hall: i agree with danger and sandy
[11:28] Jim Jackson: we can't drop noobs on the birthday region though
[11:28] albertlr Landar: well that is something that Dan will have to consider, thanks for the suggestion
[11:28] Danger Lytton: ur welcome
[11:28] Jeff Hall: make a "flying lbsa welcome spot";)
[11:28] Sandy Beachcomber: why not Jim?
[11:28] Jeff Hall: in B1
[11:29] Jim Jackson: new people rez at lbsa and have access to all the necessities
[11:29] albertlr Landar: But again we would like to have something that people can get as a commemoration of the Birthday, so any ideas on a T-Shirt or cap for the event.
[11:29] albertlr Landar: or any other item?
[11:30] albertlr Landar: Keep in mind how things are done for such events in real life.
[11:30] dan banner: unfortunately the default landing point region takes a beating and turning one of the osg12b regions into a default location would probably cause issues
[11:30] Sandy Beachcomber: hey Ariana huggs
[11:30] Aussie Envee: I think advertise for t-shirt designs, the best we use
[11:30] Arturo Carmona: hello Sandy
[11:30] Arturo Translator: hello Sandy
[11:30] albertlr Landar: as long as one of the teleport board is prominent where they land, it should give people a way to get there efficiently.
[11:30] George Equus: Put a notice urging a visit to the OSG12B on the log in splash page?
[11:31] Koni Lanzius: i could ask for clothes creators in the hypergrid article
[11:31] dan banner: OSG12B top hats are a good way to promote the event
[11:31] albertlr Landar: please do koni that would help a lot
[11:31] Koni Lanzius: ok :)
[11:31] paela argus: splash is just a welcome page of viewer not a promote page grid
[11:31] dan banner: clothing is kind of specific with all the different mesh shapes people use
[11:32] Koni Lanzius: yea, true, a hat may be a better idea
[11:32] albertlr Landar: maybe there could be a choice of prim or mesh
[11:32] Koni Lanzius: ok
[11:32] dan banner: ya which mesh? athena, etc
[11:32] dan banner: too many variables there really
[11:33] Aussie Envee: Athena is the most popular
[11:33] Sandy Beachcomber: most clothes manufacturers cater for all shapes and sizes
[11:33] rachel rose: why not having like a little store/kiosk with B12 souvenirs (different creator's clothing or commemorative items) people can get)
[11:33] Sandy Beachcomber: they will cope
[11:33] rachel rose: ?*
[11:33] Sandy Beachcomber: its good advertising
[11:33] Koni Lanzius: ahh good thought
[11:33] albertlr Landar: that would be nice rachel
[11:33] rachel rose: (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
[11:34] George Equus: Wearable "sandwich man" board?
[11:34] albertlr Landar: i don't know if we have done it in the past, but could we keep up with a people count on visitors to each of the Birthday regions.
[11:34] Koni Lanzius: hehehe yea!
[11:34] paela argus: i need make a small speak before i leave ( real need me )
[11:35] albertlr Landar: well go a head paela if you wish.
[11:35] paela argus: I would like to announce that: Os-Radio is the management property of Dan Banner now, I still remain the paying homeowners and copyright of the radio, but Dan in the complete management, the radio can not be managed through the no-profit of Osgrid Inc because of the radio is French, and responds to French law exclusively.
[11:35] dan banner: :D
[11:35] Koni Lanzius: ahh
[11:36] Koni Lanzius: i did not know we had OS Radio
[11:36] Jeff Hall: me neither
[11:36] dan banner: yes it plays at lbsa
[11:36] Koni Lanzius: oh cool
[11:36] Aussie Envee: its the one we use at lbsa
[11:36] sarah kline: Does this mean no more french rap music?
[11:36] Koni Lanzius: hehehe
[11:36] albertlr Landar: but others can stream it to their regions if they wish.
[11:36] Jeff Hall: i make my own(...)
[11:37] paela argus: dan manage the music now i not have the time to manage more time Os-Radio
[11:37] dan banner: thanks paela, your contribution is very much appreciated
[11:37] Sandy Beachcomber: its very repetitive
[11:37] Koni Lanzius: ~** APPLAUSE **~
