Greetz All,

I wonder if anyone is able to help me out with this issue. SO, I have just changed from a windows server to a Ubunto20.04 server and decided to install D2. All works perfectly well excepting for the groups as far as i can tell.

With groups set to 'true' the server boots and runs but as soon as an avatar logs in it crashes with errors pointing towards the group service module. I checked the db.. (mariadb) it created tables but it did not create any group tables.

I have spent hours searching and have found others who have posted similar issues around the net but the only solution given was disable groups. The strange thing is, my friend also installed D2 on the same server as mine and his works perfectly. I didnt mess with the ini files and only changed what i had to.

I am totally at a loss...

As a test, I downloaded and installed the opensimulator version 0.9.1.1 and what do you know, it crashed on exactly the sam issue as the D2.

I have enabled all the required ports on the server, and I even disabled the firewall to test but results are still the same.

Anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate any input or suggestions

Peace out.
Clayton
