Lately I've been having problems with the files in bin/DataSnapsot. I think an earlier difficulty reading a file caused a mono crash or two. I cleared the folder and let opensim rebuild the files. I still get messages like this:
[DATASNAPSHOT]: Exception on writing to file DataSnapshot/Myregion.xml: Sharing violation on path /home/tom/osgrid.03.16.13/bin/DataSnapshot/Myregion.xml
How concerned should I be? What are some likely causes?
I don't recall seeing this message before. Is it something relatively new?
Comments appreciated.

Hello, not sure from one line, but maybe something related to this?

Thanks for that link Bo. The mantis entry describes some other issues I've been having and the output of one crash. I did reinstall mono but am still getting tons of slow response messages. It's good to know the developers are aware of the problem. I need to learn more about how I can help by filing reports.

Yes, it is definitely good to search such stuff in mantis and post own mantis in case that you will find nothing similar.

I would try to down/upgrade mono and if the problem will persist post it to the Mantis.

for more on DATASNAPSHOTS look here: http://opensimulator.org/wiki/OpenSim.R ... taSnapshot

It looks to me like they are only useful to make XML files for web services (like search?) to use. I turned this module off on my server. Everything runs fine and I don't have to look a a string of error messages.
