Osgrid has a great community and runs fully on donations. We use these donations for 100% to keep the grid operational. (Servers, hosting costs, etc).

Osgrid tests the latest Opensim code, written by Opensim Developers. Much like all our admins, these developers are unpaid volunteers, devoting their time and skills to improve the Opensim Codebase on which all grids run.

If you love opensim, regardless of the grid you call home, consider supporting the Opensim Core developers.
Opensimword has setup a special page, enabling you to support the dev's by donating to them directly va the link below :

Sorry for the clickbait title. These developers deserve our support though !

Likely you used a vanilla opensim installation. If you use the pre-configured version posted here : https://www.osgrid.org/download.php you should be able to connect without much hassle. Mind that your router will need to forward the ports you use ( TCP 9000 for the simulator / UDP 9000, 9001, 9002 etc for each region on that simulator) to the machine running the simulator instance. Also windows / 3rd party firewalls need to allow traffic on these ports.

Extended instructions on connecting to OSgrid can be found here : https://wiki.osgrid.org/index.php/Tutorial02.
If all somehow still fails, try shooting me an IM inworld.
