My excuse for the quality: this was shot, edited, mixed and uploaded to youtube in 20 minutes just to see how fast it could be done. Uploading was the slowest part of the process. Made entirely at Lbsa Plaza 9 January 2010. Music by Henrik Jose - "Kamomilla stad".

Video captured from Hippo with Fraps, edited with VirtualDub and H.264 encoded at 1280x720 then mixed with a sound track prepared using Audacity.

Good musical selection for "Another Busy Day....". Regarding "Sense Red", I only wish the water moved so fluidly in Sea Prior Plaza! ;) Nicely done, both videos!!! 8-) :) 8-)

Ci,
I take my hat off to you, I have seen quite a lot of attempts at machinima, mostly a collection of clips set to some backing track.
Yours (the latest one) however looks more like a produced video clip, good framing and shot composition, well timed scenes, simple yet deliberate scenery, the images tell the same story as the sound track, you have a talent for this, I particularly like the way you get long smooth pan shots, and the final scene was brilliant.
Do keep it up and keep posting them here.

Thank you for your positive comments Cam.

It has taken a long time, but here is the sequel! This one uses more or less continuous pan and zoom shots to present Sultry Sonata, a real virtual singer from SL. Meri built the entire set and stars together with Ricky in the final scene. Lip sync was tried and dropped due to timing issues.

Yes, it's time for an update!

Even though VirtualDub is still very useful for basic editing and recoding, the powerful Sony Vegas video editor makes rl much easier. Here are two new videos made with Vegas 9.0. Firstly, "Dream of You" an experiment with windlight advanced water to create mirror effects:

And secondly, my very latest effort "True Colors" showing what hardware can do when a 3.4 GHz quad core pumps frames into a 1GB HD 6870
